Who We Are

The Brand Behind the Business

Two families. Five owners. A name that was earned on a ranch in the American West before it ever went on a roof in Florida.

The 7V Heritage

Where the Name Comes From

The 7V is a livestock brand — the 7 positioned above the V. It belonged to Cleo, Jon's grandfather, who ranched on the Arizona Strip. Cleo lost his mother when he was five. His father when he was ten. After that, no one bought him so much as a shirt.

He wrapped blistered hands in wool and burlap and kept working — on land so remote and unforgiving that most men never tried. He built the Big Spring Ranch from nothing. Not from connection or capital, but from something harder to name: the kind of character that doesn't wait for conditions to improve before doing the work right.

"Our handshake and our word are more important than anything written on paper."
— Cleo, founder of the Big Spring Ranch, Arizona Strip

That principle is the reason 7V Roofing exists. We're two families and five owners who looked at how roofing gets done in Northeast Florida — and decided there was a better way to do it. Not a faster way. Not a cheaper way. A documented, permitted, warranted way, delivered by people who answer their own phones.

The 7V brand didn't start in roofing. It started on a ranch that Cleo built with nothing but his hands and his word. We intend to keep it that way.

What We Stand For

One Standard. Every Roof.

These aren't values we put on a website. They're how we run the business — from the first call to the final warranty document.

Honesty Before Anything

We tell you what your roof needs — and what it doesn't. We won't fabricate urgency to sell a job. If you need a repair, we'll tell you it's a repair. If your roof has five years left, we'll tell you that too.

Process Over Shortcuts

The 7V Standard is a seven-step documented installation process. It exists because every step matters. We don't skip permits, we don't skip deck inspections, and we don't skip cleanup. Not on any job.

Accountability After Installation

We back our work with a 10-year workmanship warranty. If something fails because of how it was installed — not weather, not manufacturer defect — we come back and fix it. That's what our word means.

The Five Owners

Every Job Has an Owner On Site

This isn't a franchise with a regional manager. We're five owners who built this company together — and at least one of us is on every project we take on. You'll know who to call because the person who answers is the person responsible.

Jon

Licensed Contractor & Co-Owner

Jon holds the Florida contractor license (CCC1337027) and brings the heritage — his grandfather Cleo's 7V brand is the reason this company has a name. He's the credentialed foundation the business is built on.

Leo

Operations Lead & Co-Owner

Leo has 15 years in construction specializing in building performance and insulation. He brings that same attention to detail and commitment to quality to every roofing project — and he's personally on every roof we do to make sure what was promised during the inspection and sales process is delivered on the job site.

Sol

Operations & Brand Lead & Co-Owner

Sol runs operations, manages digital intake, and owns the brand voice. If you've read anything on this website, you've read her. She's also the face behind most of 7V's content and the reason our systems run the way they do.

Leah handles front-line calls and install coordination. She's the reason that when you call (904) 337-9606, someone actually answers — and that the scheduling on your end goes smoothly from inspection to completion.

Sergio

Lead Craftsman & Co-Owner

Sergio is the craftsman on every job. He leads the installation crew and holds the standard on the roof itself — where the work either holds up or it doesn't. He also leads Spanish-language customer communication and content.
